Diverse Works: Pre-Employment

We support disabled people in Greater Manchester to work towards finding employment.

This service offers residents of Salford, Stockport, Trafford, and Manchester 6 hours of bespoke support covering the following topics: 

•   Confidence building

•   Employment awareness – Job searches and career development

•   Job search strategies – CV writing and mock interviews

•   Career opportunities

•   Digital Skills enhancement

You will have the opportunity to focus on the areas that are most useful to you, and you will get individualised support to set your employment goals and create an action plan to acheive them. 

You will also learn about the Social Model of Disability and removing the barriers you face that stop you getting the opportunities you want. 

The only criteria we have for referals are:

a. You are aged 18 or over

a. You live in Manchester, Stockport, Trafford or Salford

c. You experiece barriers to employment becuase of a disability, health condition(s) or you are neurodivergent. 

You can self-refer or you can ask someone to refer you.
