of our own Lorraine Gradwell, Breakthrough&#8217;s former Chief Executive and co-founder.<\/p><p>The event was organised between ourselves and our colleagues at the Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP).<\/p><p>The lecture included a film presentation by Dr Jenny Morris called Broken Promises: Looking back on &#8216;Improving Life Chances of Disabled People&#8217;.<\/p><p>In this film, Jenny Morris looked back at how the many promises in the Life Chances report never became a reality due to changes in both government and legislation.<\/p><p>You can watch the film itself
