At these meetings for local disabled people and people with health conditions, we will talk about the new NHS Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) in Manchester.
The NHS are starting to set up more CDCs in local areas where people can go for important health tests close to our homes.
One is being started at Withington Community Hospital. Later there will be one in North Manchester too.
We are asking local disabled people and people with health conditions what sort of information you want about these new centres. What barriers do you face to getting information about your health and health appointments? What would work well?
The sessions are being run by local disabled people’s organisation Breakthrough UK
If you live in Manchester or Trafford you will get a £10 shopping voucher for coming to this meeting.
Please let us know what you need to take part in this meeting. For example, travel expenses, information in easy read or a British Sign Language interpreter.
