Switching Focus report outlines proposals to improve employment and pay for disabled people

Breakthrough is welcoming the Switching Focus report, as we believe the current situation needs to change.

Everyday we hear first hand accounts from disabled clients facing barriers and prejudice when trying to get into meaningful employment.

The report looks at whose responsibility this is.

Pg 5, “Disabled people and academics have argued that, in practice, there is a deeply skewed allocation of responsibility, with much higher demands on disabled individuals than on employers and other organisations.”
