Breakthrough statement Sophie Miles

We are very shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Sophie Miles.

Sophie was the Chief Executive Officer of Trafford CIL for six-and-a-half years and worked with us closely on a number of joint projects with local Disabled Peoples Organisations.

Sophie came on  board as CEO just at the point where Trafford CIL became independent of Breakthrough UK.

She proved to be a compassionate, caring and conscientious leader, establishing the Trafford CIL ‘family’ of services for local disabled people.

She moved on to serve the community at the DWP. She will be sadly missed and we send our condolence to Sophie’s family and friends.”
